Message Monday at Paul Ryan’s District Office in Racine. Bring your signs and voice and demonstrate your opinion of the GOP Tax Bill. We need to show Congress that there is broad resistance to Trump’s agenda. Join us. 12pm – 1pm
Get ready to rally if Trump fires Mueller. We will be hosting a rally at Monument Square on Main Street. Rallies will begin all around the nation hours after news breaks of a Mueller firing:
If Mueller is fired BEFORE 2 P.M. local time —> events will begin @ 5 P.M. local time
If Mueller is fired AFTER 2 P.M. local time —> events will begin @ noon local time the following day
Mayoral Candidate Sandy Weidner’s untruth in today’s Journal Times. “My opponent has been largely silent about the Arena. Given his close connections iwth the former mayor, he is most likely for it, but does not want to come out and say so…” Why the lie Sandy?
Cory Mason announced on facebook and twitter in a video on September 8, 2017 that he was against the arena. Is Sandy Weidner that misinformed? Is she still acting like she’s running against former Mayor Dickert? Or is it a downright lie from Sandy Weidner? You decide.
Join us TODAY Tues. Sept. 5 at 6pm at Monument Square. Bring signs, spirit & heart. We will be marching from Monument Square to the MLK statue on the corner of State St. and Martin Luther King Dr. There will be buses available to take people back to Monument Square.

IS PAUL RYAN THE MOST DANGEROUS MAN IN AMERICA?
RESISTANCE ACTIVISTS UNITE TO LAUNCH #RESISTRYAN INITIATIVE
Collaboration will reach across Wisconsin; America to hold Speaker Paul Ryan accountable
RACINE — Calling House Speaker Paul Ryan the most dangerous man in America, local residents and advocates are launching #ResistRyan, a collaboration of local groups and individuals united to expose Paul Ryan’s agenda to put wealthy donors above Wisconsin families. The group is planning several events to call out Paul Ryan. The first will be simultaneous actions in Kenosha and Racine on Wednesday, June 28 at 5:30 p.m., focused on the pending Senate vote to repeal the Affordable Care Act, which will strip health care from 23 million Americans.
“Paul Ryan is the most dangerous man in America. While Donald Trump is an inexperienced blowhard, unable to move legislation, Paul Ryan is the one executing Trump’s anti-working families agenda,” said Marina Dimitrijevic, executive director of Wisconsin Working Families, one of the convenors of the #ResistRyan effort. “Ryan is callously using the opportunity of the disordered Trump presidency to move his own plan to benefit America’s richest at the expense of the rest of us.”
#ResistRyan is where constituents, grassroots activists, and local organizations can unite — on conference calls, in meetings, on the #ResistRyan website, in #ResistRyan emails and social media communications, and with a #ResistRyan toolkit—to uplift our collective voices to hold Paul Ryan responsible for his actions. Through a national rapid response network, #ResistRyan is a new level of local coordination, national support, and escalating action.
“Paul Ryan may be hiding from his constituents in Wisconsin’s First District, but he can’t hide from the millions of Americans who are suffering because of his policies,” said Gina Walkington of Forward Kenosha. “#ResistRyan will work across the country — in collaboration with local and national resistance organizations and activists — to hold Paul Ryan accountable wherever he goes. He’s avoiding hosting town hall meetings here in Wisconsin but as House Speaker, Ryan travels the country for photo ops and high dollar fundraisers. Wherever he goes, we’ll be there to meet him.”
#ResistRyan is a collaboration with local groups Wisconsin Working Families, Our Wisconsin Revolution-Kenosha, Forward Kenosha, Forward Racine, Left of the I, United Auto Workers (UAW) Southeastern Wisconsin CAP Council, Racine Education Association, Racine Educational Assistants Association. faith leaders, and other labor and immigrant rights groups. #ResistRyan is also everyday residents in Wisconsin’s First District, the state, and around the country who believe that Paul Ryan is leading America in the wrong direction.
“Many in the Racine community are frustrated by Speaker Ryan’s lack of communication and active avoidance of his constituents,” said Natalia Taft of Forward Racine. “We have reached out for information and town halls, and get back form letters, or more often, no response at all. We need new leadership for southeastern Wisconsin.”
Like every member of Congress, Ryan is up for reelection in 2018. Democrats Randy Bryce of Caledonia and David Yankovich have announced their intention to challenge Ryan in the general election. Paul Nehlen, who lost to Ryan by 68 points in the last primary, said he would once again run against him in the Republican primary.
“Canned events, call-in town halls, and campaign fund raisers do not equal looking into the eyes of those who need and deserve true leadership from their U.S. Representative,” said Lori Hawkins of Left of the I. “Because Paul Ryan continually chooses party over people and power over fair policy, he is not a leader at all.”
#ResistRyan is a non-partisan collaboration focused on exposing and opposing Paul Ryan’s extreme agenda. #ResistRyan is a collaboration with local groups Wisconsin Working Families, Our Wisconsin Revolution-Kenosha, Forward Kenosha, Forward Racine, Left of the I, the United Auto Workers, faith leaders, and other labor and immigrant rights groups. #ResistRyan is also everyday residents in Wisconsin’s First District, the state, and around the country who believe that Paul Ryan is leading America in the wrong direction.
